  • Knowledge of diesel engine operation and its components

  • Participants are able to:
  • Properly test individual components in exhaust after-treatment systems
  • Quickly and efficiently diagnose faults in the system
  • Properly use the equipment and tools required for diagnostics of exhaust after-treatment systems

Content:

  • Dry and wet exhaust after-treatment systems (oxidation catalyst, DPF, NOx storage catalyst, FAP system, SCR catalyst, slip catalyst)
  • Sensors and actuators in exhaust after-treatment systems (Lambda sensors, NOx sensor, PM sensor, temperature sensors)
  • Importance and method of interaction between individual components and the impact of their operation
  • Use of diagnostic functions for faster and more efficient fault diagnosis
  • Application of individual tools for targeted fault finding
