New strategic partnership between Tokić Group and SmartSafe puts Croatia on the European automotive training map
Frankfurt/Zagreb, September 9, 2026 – Tokić Group and global company SmartSafe have entered into a strategic partnership under which Tokić will become a European training center for the entire ecosystem of SmartSafe products for advanced diagnostics, ADAS, and service equipment for battery-powered vehicles. The training programs are designed to support the development of SmartSafe’s distributor network across Europe, and the partnership was officially presented at Automechanika Frankfurt on September 8.
Through this partnership, Tokić Group is once again taking a step forward in embracing the latest industry trends and preparing the market for the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and work with electric vehicles. Training programs will be held in Croatian, English, and German and delivered by specialized trainers with more than 20 years of experience. The programs will be organized by Tokić’s Training and Education Center (TEC), using state-of-the-art equipment and providing direct access to manufacturer information. Technical training programs for automotive repair shops are also planned, enabling Tokić to directly contribute to raising the quality of services provided by Croatian workshops.
he training program developed by Tokić and SmartSafe experts consists of four programs tailored to different market needs. The most comprehensive is the EV Technical Academy, designed for service technicians and consisting of six levels, each lasting three days. The second program is intended for distributors and sales teams and lasts two days, while the third is specifically designed for field service teams and covers equipment maintenance, calibration, servicing, and repairs.
The fourth program consists of five two-day modules covering various areas of automotive service technology – from ADAS equipment (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air conditioning, and the application of technologies in hybrid and electric vehicles to automatic transmissions, TPMS valve diagnostics, and an introduction to SmartSafe’s product portfolio.
